Abstract |
Based on the results, exposure to VOCs and bioaerosols affects blood biomarkers and respiratory system function. Due to the concentration of pollutants studied and the presence of the highest concentration of contaminants in the WTS, the highest impact on blood biomarkers and respiratory system function was seen in this area. The risk of exposure and its consequences in people working in the WTS and in the landfill site was considered to be high, compared to people working in green space. This study highlights the importance of exposure to VOCs and bioaerosols in the summer and its adverse effects, especially in the WTS and active zone of the landfill site. Finally, controlled exposure can reduce the health hazard caused by this pollutants |
